When Harper Grant attends a local historical reenactment to take her mind off her recent Witch Council examination, she certainly isn’t expecting one of the actors to drop dead.

Life is never simple in Abbott Cove. Grandma Grant is causing mayhem, as usual, Deputy Joe McGrady is warning Harper to stay out of police business, and the Townsends are a law unto themselves. Dealing with the kooky residents of Abbott Cove is a full-time job in itself, so the last thing Harper needs is another ghost to deal with.

But Harper can’t turn her back on a ghost in need and struggles to track down the culprit before it’s too late.
